Scott Moore promoted to fire chief for Kingsville Fire Department

July 22, 2024, Kingsville, Ont. — Scott Moore has been appointed as fire chief for the Kingsville Fire Department in Ontario.

Moore has served the Kingsville community for over 18 years, holding positions including volunteer firefighter, fire prevention officer, and assistant deputy chief.

“I’ve been very fortunate to work alongside this phenomenal group of firefighters and emergency service personnel,” he said in a media statement. “I’m honoured to continue serving the Town of Kingsville in this new leadership role, and I’m looking forward to getting started.”

His promotion comes after former chief Jason Suchiu transitioned to the Lakeshore Fire Department to fill the top job.

Moore begins his new role on July 29.
