July 25, 2024, Minneapolis — Polaris Government and Defence has partnered with MTECH, Inc., provider of QTAC vehicle-based emergency response equipment and mobile fire skid systems, to expand the fire and rescue lineup of Ranger utility vehicles.

The partnership will introduce upgraded select models of the Ranger XP 1000, Ranger XP 1500, and the all-electric Ranger XP Kinetic with engineering improvements including self-leveling suspension and an electric box lift.

The vehicles will be fully integrated with MTECH QTAC skids, emergency lighting and custom graphics for a complete, turn-key solution for fire departments, the company said in a press statement.

The skids are built with PolyTough construction, with options including a 75-gallon water capacity and a Waterax Versax six- or nine-horsepower pump.
