Midwest Fire promotes Darcie Johnson to chief financial officer

News Headlines Hot Topics apparatus new hireJune 19, 2024, Luverne, Minn. — Midwest Fire has promoted Darcie Johnson to chief financial officer from her current position as vice president and office manager.
Johnson was originally hired in 2013, and has fulfilled duties in accounting, management, and IT during her tenure.
She was named to the Prairie Business Magazine “40 under 40” list in 2016 which highlights young professionals making significant impacts in their community.
“My favorite part of working for Midwest Fire for the past 10 years has been the day-to-day problem solving,” said Johnson in a press release. “On a personal level, I love working with firefighters. They are some of the most genuine and down-to-earth people you will meet.”
Midwest Fire Equipment and Repair Company has been manufacturing fire tankers and pumpers since 1987.
